تصاویری از استادیوم های جالب در جهان

    استادیوم ملی ژاپن

Designed by Jackson Architecture, their proposal for the Japan National Stadium is a new stadium in a park, where nature is apparent and can be integrated. Car parking, buses, community and service facilities exist below the park: neighborhood recreation and health areas contribute to the excitement and atmosphere, inhabited every day. The first impression is of a large park, within which a large “ellipsoidal object is placed. More images and architects’ description after the break.
For cities, architecture provides representative cultural sounding, where gathering places become symbolic, beyond mere utilisation; where expressive civic confidence. An undulating ground plane is the first point of arrival from all sides of the city, and so is a new park, segregated from traffic. Access and arrival to the stadium embraces all public transport provisions, the six major train stations in particular. The two stations further south are a short walk away, and the routes shown in the Brief are recognised in this design. The siting of the Stadium reads as an Island, between surrounding roads.
A new enclosing bowl and translucent roof are lifted, so that the interior is seen from the outside. Struts support a series of cantilever roof sections which provide a ring of ‘water lily’ elements, organically inspired. Such segments are mimetic intentionally, like ‘wings of flight’ roofing the outer ring. Clad in EFTE will shelter and shade. A twin fabric is supported by a tubular steel tracery, a perimeter necklace structure that holds a compression ring in place above the field.
One idea is to float a cloud-like raft of helium balloons, each 23 metres in diameter. Its customary position some 300 metres above the roof, thus allowing grass to grow on the field below. As a signal for a 21st Century Stadium, the balloon can light up the night sky, a marker with images of great spectacle … atmosphere and excitement already apparent. The cloud removes heavy loads from the segmental fixed roof cantilever. It can be lowered to a closed position, (brought down by winch and cable) in several minutes.
A modern stadium is recognized now as a multi-cultural theatre in which excitement and atmosphere are inherently present, whichever event may be presented. Theatre, both content, and culture need the opportunity to stage the spectacular. Anticipation, high expectation and an atmosphere pertinent for the occasion is in demand. Illusionary film and kinetic theatrical effects transform the occasion and an “other world” is experienced.

    digital model 01
On the west side there is a desire to connect across the Metropolitan road via an extended upper plaza reaching out to the Metropolitan Gymnasium to the south, the Garemunal Station potentially needs consideration, both stations lead to arrival areas on the east adjacent to Meiji Tinger Secondary Stadium.

    digital model 02
Our sustainable design objective has been initiated by the idea of a meeting of the parklands to create a metaphorical landscape carpet on top of the stadium and retail functions that require only passive sunlight, thus allowing for a greater proportion of public open space and as much planting of trees as possible. Car parking is moved below the public concourses and so too vehicle and service zones to allow the ground plane to remain open to pedestrians, patrons and the public and it is envisioned the stadium precinct will become a green corridor between Shibuya Ward, Shinjuku Ward and Minato Ward and will essentially connect these parklands. Water retained and recycled from the roof water run-off will be used to water the park.

    digital model 03
The stadium is designed to hold a flexible lifecycle, allowing for components to be replaced, recycled and renewed or added over time. Differing construction materials hold different life spans and the design is focused on the idea of utilizing these life cycles. The main stadium and podium structure are produced from concrete and steel to give the maximum lifespan possible and the additional components of roof, service areas and ancillary areas are designed to last up to and beyond 50 years. This allows for the stadium to grow and change over time and be re adapted to suit changing requirements.

    digital model 04
The simplicity and straightforward bowl design and layout, allows for replaceable service pods to be removed, rebuilt and recycled if preferred. The stadium becomes a building that changes over time and responds to changing needs. The stadium bowl is designed to be naturally ventilated and open in plan to allow for maximum comfort to players and promote cross air flows at pitch level creating a venturi Effect. Player comfort is important and by lowering the bowl and creating a “cool sink” with the playing field, we enhance player comfort to promote their best performance.

Courtesy of OFIS Architects The stadium is set to open as the city of Borisov celebrates a significant anniversary in 2013. The program takes into account the natural advantages of the location and the existing interventions in the terrain, maintaining as many of the existing trees on site as possible. Because the stadium has 13.000 seats, it will need an additional 3.000 m2 of public space and obtain 4 stars according to UEFA categorization. The stadium will require external elements for traffic organization and controlled/separate access for matches and daily use. Finally, the complex is to have a recognizable image of this dominant city, placed in the soft surrounding greenery. The arena forms a unified rounded dome, giving the impression of a single enclosed object. The Skin of the dome gives an impression of a fragile stretched perforated textile pulled over the stadium skeleton. The covered space between the skin and the tribunes is a public street-a vestibule with public program (shops, bars, services, toilets) and galleries above (offices, VIP, press).

Exploded Axon Internally, the rounded arena provides good acoustics and encourages an extrovert atmosphere from the players and the fans alike during the game, but focuses concentration during training time. The playing surface has N-S orientation, with a total area of 85×105 m, on which 68x105m is used for playing. The remaining area allows enough space for the installation of advertising screens, photographers and cameras. The seats are arranged around the playing field in rows of 17 along the sides and rows of 27-28 along the short sides. The upper west gallery is reserved for press cabins, with seats and tables for 40 journalists and direct stair access to the press room and mix zone. In the east are the VIP stands, with 250 seats and bar and entertainment spaces. The VIP is accessed directly via an elevator from the entrance area with a car driveway. The athletes have a separate access on the lower platform, with passage to team buses and parking. At each entry point to the field are two dressing rooms, mix zone, physiotherapy and a space for doping control.

Rok Gerbec There are 4 floors with extra program and service facilities under the west stand area and 3 floors under the east side. The foyer for visitors is located on the first floor level and has 4 stairway access points. It is a covered plateau, naturally ventilated and unheated. Extending all around the inner stadium arena, this space contains the visitor’s toilets, bars, first-aid room and detention: it is a place to break during half-time. 3.000 m2 of public program is distributed at ground level on the north, south and east ends of the structure. In the east, a restaurant and bowling area are located. The restaurant prepares meals for the VIP during the match, with a service elevator for catering to the VIP lounge and bar within its public foyer. In the south, there are public fitness/gym studios. Other public area spaces are designed for various commercial activities. All restaurants have access from the public platform. Around the platform is a rounded pedestrian square, as a peripheral roundabout and meeting area. Parking pockets are organized into the existing forest area.

The updated design for the Tokyo National Stadium. Image Courtesy of Japan Sport Council Update: The Japan Sport Council has now unveiled images of ZHA’s redesigned Tokyo National Stadium, which Zaha Hadid Architects say will make “make the stadium even more efficient, user-focussed, adaptable and sustainable.” The capacity of the stadium will remain at 80,000 seats.
After sustained protest from Japanese architects and citizens alike, Zaha Hadid Architects have confessed that they are modifying their designs for Tokyo’s National Stadium, the centerpiece for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. After repeated criticism, including a petition launched by Pritzker laureates Toyo Ito and Fumihiko Maki, the Japanese Government had already announced a plan to reduce the cost from its original budget of $3 billion to a more manageable $1.7 billion.
Now, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has added fuel to the fire by saying that it would support a scaled-back plan for the entire event: “We want to see more existing venues, we want to see the use of more temporary grandstands,” said Committee vice president John Coates.
More on Tokyo’s plan to dial down its Olympics after the break

The updated design for the Tokyo National Stadium. Image Courtesy of Japan Sport Council Last month, Japan announced that it was revisiting plans for ten of its Olympic projects, thanks to unexpectedly high construction costs, with bids for one facility coming in at 15 times the estimated cost. In addition to this, there are concerns that excessive construction plans in Tokyo will sideline the ongoing reconstruction work to fix the damage of the 2011 Earthquake and Tsunami.

Image © ZHA Those petitioning against Zaha Hadid’s designs have taken the opportunity to put the campaign into overdrive: on Saturday, 500 protesters circled the existing National Stadium, carrying placards with slogans such as “We want a compact and economical Olympics.”

Zaha Hadid Architects’ original design for the Tokyo National Stadium. Image © ZHA The exact nature of the changes to Hadid’s design have not yet been unveiled, but with the Japanese Government, Japanese public and the IOC all aiming for less dramatic plans for the 2020 Games, it seems unlikely that the event’s main stadium will escape unchanged. Whether this will meet the approval of the protesters is another question entirely.
